Super zážitek, odborný a zajímavý výklad, mohu jen doporučit.
We will agree on the idea of the tasting (number of guests, start time, venue). Based on the information provided, we will create a calculation that can be fine-tuned together.
Preparation involves preparing all samples in advance for each participant. This ensures that the tasting is seamless and that we can move from one sample to the next as the tasting progresses.
A story about the history of rum, its production and interesting facts. Tasting includes molasses, sugar cane, bagasse and rum samples. Combination with chocolate for a better taste experience.
At the end of the tasting there is always room for questions that were not asked during the tasting. And then there is my farewell and cleaning up the whole tasting.
This is supposed to be the main activity of the guests at the moment.
From 5 people to 75 people. Of course, as the number of guests increases, the presentation becomes more demanding and therefore I recommend dividing the guests into several groups. The ideal number of guests per group is between 15 - 30.
During the guided tasting, all guests are seated at their samples and together we focus only on the rums for the entire tasting. At any given moment, this is the main activity that has a predetermined time in the schedule. For larger numbers of people, I recommend an unguided tasting in the form of a rum corner. Guests come to us in groups or individually and we talk to each person according to their own interest in rum. Someone is more interested in rum and spends half an evening tasting and talking about rum, and someone is not so interested in rum and just takes a tasting sample and continues on to his colleagues. That's the advantage of an unguided tasting, because it's flexible and doesn't force anyone to be in a certain place at a certain time.
The duration is usually around 1.5 hours. Of course, it can be adapted to the needs of the event programme and can thus be extended or shortened.
Usually the number of samples is between 6 and 7. It is possible to include more, but I usually do not recommend it. I know from experience that more samples are pointless, as the taste buds of the guests are tired and can no longer distinguish the differences between the different rums. The minimum is 4 - 5 samples and that's if the tasting has to take place in a shorter period of time.
I deliberately choose rums that are less commercial so that guests can discover new flavours and brands. At the same time, I assemble them in such a way that they are as varied in taste as possible and are ordered from unsweetened to the sweetest. That way, every guest can discover their favourite. Sometimes it is useful to include aone commercially known rum in the line-up so that guests can taste compare other rums with rums they already know.
Experience. The tasting is not only about the rums themselves, but also about information you won't learn
from the marketing descriptions of the brands. Sometimes the wow effect and the discovery that the bottles of "rum" I have
at home, they're actually not even rum.
The guest should leave the tasting in a good mood, but still "on their own". At the same time full of new knowledge from the rum world.
The guided tasting is more time-consuming to set up, usually with 20 participants it takes around 1.5 - 2 hours.
The price is mainly influenced by the number of participants and the option you choose (basic, premium, rare). Generally, tastings start from 10 000 CZK and above. Our field of activity is the whole Czech Republic.
In the basic variant about 500 - 1000 CZK
In premium roughly 1000 - 2000 CZK
In rare - 2500 - unlimited.
But beware, the price of rums does not correlate with their quality, and certainly not with their taste. Please do not expect
a bottle of rum for CZK 5,000 will taste better than a bottle of rum for CZK 500. This is not always the case. Moreover,
taste is a subjective matter.
Nothing at all about the tasting itself. We will bring all the ingredients for the tasting ourselves. And tasting glasses, of course. All you will need to prepare is the tasting area (seating for guests) and glasses of water for sipping the samples.
